I wanted to write a story and there could not be a better place than Istanbul to write this story.
I graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Istanbul Kültür University and completed my Erasmus Exchange program at University of Manchester. I continued my post-graduate studies at Boğaziçi University, studying International Trade. After completing my undergraduate studies, I worked in various boutique and large chain hotels. I had the opportunity to work with different people, take part in a team and learn how to produce together during my education and experiences. However, I have always wanted to develop myself in the field of tourism / hotel management and create my own style and brand as a woman entrepreneur.
After a long period of renovation, I would like to welcome my guests with our new capacity. You will feel the comfort of your home in our historic but modern place.

Kalkedon Hostel is in the center of the most popular places in Kadıköy. Only a 10-minute walk from our door brings you to the heart of the area. Public transportation is within 7-8 minutes walking distance and takes you to all parts of the city.
Metrobus and Marmaray lines are within walking distance. Kadıköy pier is also 15 minute-walk away. The pier offers ferries and boats to the European side, Bosphorus tours, Princes' Islands, Dolmabahçe Palace, Golden Horn, Maiden's Tower and more!
